The Chess Engines application is designed to enhance your chess gaming experience by providing a collection of powerful OEX chess engines, which can be integrated into various chess GUI applications on Android devices. This app does not feature a standalone graphical user interface; instead, it serves as a backend resource for other chess applications that support the OEX (Open Exchange) protocol.
Included in this application are native executables for the following renowned open-source chess engines:
- Stockfish 17 - Known for its high performance and constant updates, Stockfish 17 is one of the leading chess engines available. Learn more about it at Stockfish 17.
- Stockfish 16.1 - A slightly older but still highly effective version of Stockfish, offering robust gameplay analysis. More details can be found at Stockfish 16.1.
- Clover 7.0 - Another strong contender in the chess engine arena, Clover 7.0 provides unique analysis capabilities. Visit its GitHub page for more information at Clover 7.0.
