MAME4droid 2024, developed by David Valdeita (Seleuco), is a robust port of the MAME 0.270 emulator, crafted by MAMEDev and its contributors. This cutting-edge emulator supports over 40,000 ROMs, allowing you to dive into a diverse range of arcade games and systems, including classics like ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, and MSX. Keep in mind, MAME4droid is strictly an emulator and does not come with any ROMs or copyrighted material.

Designed for high-end Android devices, MAME4droid 2024 leverages the latest PC MAME version, which means you'll need a device with higher specifications to run it smoothly. However, even on powerful devices, you might find that "modern" arcade games from the 90s and later may not run at full speed or be fully compatible. Given the vast library of over 40,000 games and systems, performance can vary significantly, and some titles may not run at all. As such, individual game support requests cannot be accommodated.
To start playing, simply install the app and place your MAME-compatible zipped ROMs in the /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.seleuco.mame4d2024/files/roms folder. For alternative ROM storage options, please refer to the in-app help section. Note that this version of MAME4droid is compatible only with the '0.269' romset, not with romsets from older versions.
