Story
Your adventure begins in a forest near the village of Riders, where you, along with your friends Lilia and Cheval, discover a mysterious shining egg. In a playful moment, you mimic the Rite of Kinship, and to your astonishment, it works! The egg hatches into a baby Rathalos, the majestic "King of the Skies," whom you affectionately name "Ratha." You bring Ratha back to the village, but soon after, a monster infected with "the Black Blight" attacks, leaving devastation in its wake and deep scars in the hearts of Cheval and Lilia.
A year later, you receive a Kinship Stone from the Village Chief, marking your official status as a Rider. As Cheval and Lilia embark on their separate journeys, you, with the cheerful Navirou by your side, set out on a new adventure into the world of hunters. A tale of friendship and triumph awaits—ride on into the world of Monster Hunter Stories!
