HOW TO PLAY
Ludo is a race-based board game where each player controls eight pieces (four per house × two houses). The game supports two players, each with two houses. Your goal is simple: be the first to bring all eight of your pieces safely home.
MOVEMENT OF PIECES
- The player with the red house starts the game. In subsequent games, the loser of the previous round begins.
- A piece can only exit its home when a die roll results in a 6.
- Once on the track, a piece can move forward based on any die outcome.
- Each piece must travel through 56 steps to reach the finish line.
- A piece may also be removed from the board if it captures an opponent’s piece.
PIECE CAPTURE
- A piece captures an opponent’s piece by landing on the same block.
- When captured, the opponent’s piece is returned to its home, and the capturing piece is removed from the board.
- Capturing is strategic—do it wisely to gain advantage and avoid being captured yourself.
- A piece cannot capture another if the remaining die value cannot be fully utilized.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- You may roll the dice consecutively only if each roll results in a 6 (e.g., rolling 6, then another 6 allows another roll).
- Always complete the current dice action before rolling again, no matter what number you get.
- For faster gameplay, enable DIRECT COUNT in the settings.
