How to Add Friends & Play Together in Marvel Rivals

Mastering Friend Management in Marvel Rivals: A Comprehensive Guide

Marvel Rivals, the thrilling 6v6 hero shooter, offers smooth matchmaking, but the real fun lies in teaming up with friends. This guide details how to add and play with friends in Marvel Rivals.

Important Note: Currently, Marvel Rivals lacks cross-progression and cross-play. You can only add friends on the same platform. However, the developers have confirmed that this feature is in the works.

Adding Friends:

  1. Locate the Friends Icon: Upon launching the game, find the friends icon (usually located in the top corner near your player profile).

  2. Recent Players: Clicking this icon displays a list of recently played players. Select a player to add them to your friends list.

  3. Username Search: Alternatively, use the search bar to enter a friend's username. Press Enter and add them from the search results. They must accept your friend request before appearing on your list.

Playing with Friends:

  1. Access Friends List: Click the friends list icon (top right corner).

  2. Send an Invitation: Locate the desired friend, select their username, and send an invitation.

  3. Queue Together: You can now queue for quick play or competitive matches together.

Console Players: Friends added on your console's system level will automatically appear in your Marvel Rivals friends list, simplifying the invitation process.
