Adventure Time #5 is written by Nick Winn (known for Silver Sprocket’s Bloody Mary) and illustrated by Kenzie Bugg (from Adult Swim’s Tuca and Bertie). Both creators also contributed covers for this issue alongside Shelli Paroline, Braden Lamb, and Agustin Morales. Additionally, issue #5 includes a backup story by Derek Ballard, a writer and storyboard artist from the Adventure Time animated series.
Here is Oni's official summary for the new issue:
After their funky dance battle in outer space, Finn and Jake hear that Billy has mysteriously reappeared in… the Computer Kingdom?! Eager to retrieve the Enchiridion for Computer Princess and prove he’s a real hero—not just an adventuring kid—Finn rushes to the scene. But there’s more to Billy than meets the eye… What secrets lie in Computer Princess’s past? And what darkness looms in Finn’s future? Surely nothing terribly evil, right? RIGHT?!?!
Adventure Time #5 is scheduled for release on September 3, 2025. You can also preorder Adventure Time Vol. 1: Best of Buds on Amazon.
