Arknights: Endfield January Beta Test: Expanded Gameplay and New Features
Arknights: Endfield is launching a new beta test this January, building upon the previous phase with significant updates and improvements. This beta expands gameplay and character options, as reported by Niche Gamer.
Key Enhancements in the Upcoming Beta:
- Expanded Roster: The playable character count increases to 15, including two Endministrators, all featuring updated models, animations, and special effects.
- Enhanced Combat: Expect refined combat mechanics based on player feedback. This includes new combo skills and the introduction of a dodge mechanic. Item usage and character progression systems have also been adjusted for a more rewarding experience.
- Base Building Overhaul: The base building system receives a significant update with new defensive structures, expanded factory construction options via outposts, and enhanced tutorial levels.
- Story and Map Updates: A reworked storyline, new maps, and engaging puzzles await players.
- Language Options: Players can select from Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and English voiceovers and text.
Beta Test Sign-Up:
Registration opened December 14, 2024. While the application deadline and beta test start date remain unannounced, selected participants will receive an email notification from GRYPHLINE, including installation instructions.
Arknights: Endfield Content Creator Program Vol. 1:
Concurrent with the beta test announcement, Arknights: Endfield launched its Content Creator Program Vol. 1. Selected creators will join the official community, receive exclusive perks, and participate in special events. Applications, open from December 15th to 29th, 2024, are categorized into gameplay insights (reviews, lore discussions, streams, etc.) and fan creations (memes, art, cosplay, etc.). While meeting the requirements doesn't guarantee selection, applicants should provide links to past work.
