Batman: Hush 2 Preview Art Revealed by DC Comics

Author : Hazel Feb 28,2025

DC's 2025 lineup is packed with exciting projects, but few are as anticipated as the sequel to the acclaimed Batman: Hush. This highly anticipated continuation, Batman: Hush 2, marks a significant event: DC President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer Jim Lee himself helming a monthly Batman comic. Beginning in March with Batman #158, this storyline serves as a direct follow-up to the original 2002-2004 Hush saga.

DC has unveiled an extended preview of Batman #158, along with sneak peeks at #159 and a showcase of the numerous variant covers for Hush 2 (or H2sh, for the creatively inclined). Explore these previews in the gallery below:

Remarkably, Batman: Hush 2 reunites the original creative team: writer Jeph Loeb and artist Jim Lee, joined by inker Scott Williams, colorist Alex Sinclair, and letterer Richard Starkings. This marks the first time the original team has collaborated on a Hush-related story since the original concluded.

Building upon the recent epilogue in Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition, the Dark Knight uncovers evidence that his childhood nemesis, Tommy Elliot (Hush), survived their last encounter. This revelation sets the stage for a new chapter of intrigue as Hush manipulates Batman's allies and enemies.

Batman: Hush 2 will unfold across Batman #158-163, with the first installment launching on March 26th. Following this arc, DC will relaunch the series with a new #1 issue and a redesigned costume, ushering in a new era for the Dark Knight under writer Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jimenez.
