The Battle of Polytopia Brings a New Game Mode Called Weekly Challenges

The Battle of Polytopia has upped the ante with its exciting new Weekly Challenges! This free update introduces a fresh, competitive twist to the beloved 4X strategy game, offering a structured way to test your skills.

From Randomness to Rigorous Competition

Polytopia's charm lies in its unpredictable nature—the ever-changing maps, resources, and enemy encounters. But this new update brings a welcome dose of structured competition. Each week, all players face the same map, tribe, and gameplay conditions, creating a level playing field. The goal? Achieve the highest score within 20 turns. You get one attempt per day, for a maximum of seven attempts per week.

This innovative feature even lets you experience tribes you may not own! With 16 tribes in total (four base game tribes and twelve purchasable tribes), the Weekly Challenges give everyone a chance to command any tribe, regardless of ownership.

Will Weekly Challenges Elevate Polytopia's Excitement?

The new mode also introduces a compelling League system. Starting in the Entry League, players ascend (or descend) based on weekly performance. The top third moves up, the bottom third down, while the middle remains unchanged. The difficulty scales with your league; Entry League features Easy AI, while Gold League pits you against Crazy difficulty bots. Missing a week won't demote you, but your ranking will adjust based on others' progress.
