EA offered a first glimpse of the Battlefield 6 single-player campaign during Sony's September 2025 State of Play broadcast.
The featured video showcases the series' signature explosive action, dynamic destruction, and gripping cinematic sequences.
In a PlayStation Blog post, Creative Director for Single Player Roman Campos-Oriola described the Battlefield 6 campaign as "a white-knuckle thrill ride where you play as members of Dagger 13, an elite Marine Raiders unit. Their mission is to stop Pax Armata, a private military corporation capitalizing on NATO's collapse to reshape global power."
He added: "Moving away from the War Stories format of Battlefield 1 and V, Battlefield 6 returns to a single, continuous narrative spanning three continents. You'll engage in a tank battle against the backdrop of the Pyramids, fight through intense urban combat in Brooklyn, perform HALO jumps into hostile territory, and experience more of this modern military thriller.
"Throughout the campaign, you'll assume the roles of different Dagger 13 operatives, grappling with both external threats and internal conflicts.
"Staying true to Battlefield, squad play is central to the single-player experience. You can command your Dagger 13 teammates to suppress enemies, allowing you to reposition for a sniper shot, execute a flank, or eliminate multiple targets with a well-placed grenade. Furthermore, as you step into the boots of different squad members, you'll utilize their unique skills and specialties to gain a tactical edge.
"Battlefield 6's Single Player and Multiplayer exist in a shared world. The locations and large-scale battles from Dagger 13's story will also be featured in the iconic All-Out Warfare multiplayer modes, where NATO's remaining forces wage total war against Pax Armata."
Battlefield 6 launches on October 10, 2025.
