When does the Beach Resort Event start in Pikmin Bloom?
The event runs from July 1st to July 31st, 2025, bringing a festive beach atmosphere to the game. The star of the show is the Surfboard Keychain Decor Pikmin, making their first-ever appearance in Pikmin Bloom.
You can unlock these delightful new additions by completing Event Challenge missions throughout the month. Each completed mission rewards you with random items such as Sea Glass and flower petals. And when the Event Big Flower finally blooms, you’re guaranteed a special bonus: a Gold Seedling, in addition to the regular rewards.
Returning by popular demand is the beloved Ice Cream: Classic Decor Pikmin. As part of the event, you’ll receive special tasks focused on collecting Sea Glass, which is essential for unlocking event-themed Mii costumes and earning Ice Cream: Classic Decor Pikmin seedlings.
There are several ways to gather Sea Glass during the event:

- Destroying Seafoam Mushrooms
- Opening Mystery Boxes
- Completing tasks via the Event Premium Pass
- Purchasing the Web Store Exclusive Bundle Pack
Seafoam Mushrooms are unique to this event and drop Mystery Boxes containing Sea Glass and other valuable items. For the best results in defeating them, deploy the Surfboard Keychain and Ice Cream: Classic Decor Pikmin—they’re especially effective during this event.

July also brings a fresh floral forecast. The vibrant Birds of Paradise make their debut as the Flower of the Month, available in white, red, and yellow variants—each appearing for the first time in the game.
During the event, Big Flowers can bloom into lilies, frangipanis, peonies, water lilies, irises, or birds of paradise, depending on the color of petals (red, yellow, white, or blue) planted nearby. Additionally, fruits obtained from defeated mushrooms will yield nectar in matching types: regular, lily, frangipani, peony, water lily, iris, or bird of paradise.
