EA Play Bids Farewell to Two Titles in February 2025

Get ready, EA Play subscribers! February 2025 will see the departure of two popular titles from the EA Play game library. Madden NFL 23 will be removed on February 15th, followed by F1 22 on February 28th. This removal doesn't signify an immediate shutdown of online functionalities for these games, but it does mean they'll no longer be accessible through your EA Play subscription. Fans should make the most of their remaining playtime.

Key Departures:

  • Madden NFL 23: February 15th, 2025
  • F1 22: February 28th, 2025

Beyond these removals, there's additional news concerning UFC 3. Its online services will be discontinued on February 17th, 2025. The game's availability on EA Play after this date remains uncertain, but its core online features will be lost.

Looking Ahead:

While the loss of these games is regrettable, EA Play subscribers can still enjoy newer installments within the same franchises. Madden NFL 24, F1 23, and UFC 4 will remain accessible, and a new addition, UFC 5, joins the lineup on January 14th, 2025. This influx of newer titles should somewhat mitigate the disappointment of the February departures. The ever-evolving nature of subscription services means such changes are inevitable, but EA continues to offer a diverse and regularly updated game catalog.
