Call of Duty: New Zombies Content Arrives with Season 2

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Season 2 introduces "The Tomb," a new Zombies map arriving January 28th. This map continues the narrative from "Citadelle des Morts," the Season 1 Reloaded addition. The Tomb will be the fourth Zombies map in Black Ops 6, following Terminus Island and Liberty Falls.

Treyarch, the developer, has confirmed the January 28th release date, coinciding with Season 2's launch. The Tomb, set within catacombs above ancient burial grounds, is structurally similar to Liberty Falls, according to Treyarch. Players can expect new Easter Eggs, a Wonder Weapon drawing inspiration from past games, and the return of familiar characters: Weaver, Grey, Garver, and Maya.

Further details on The Tomb and Season 2's complete content will be unveiled next week. However, Treyarch has offered teasers: expect nods to previous Zombies maps, enhanced Pack-a-Punch camos, and the comeback of a legendary SMG from Zombies history.

The rapid release of new Zombies maps—one per season—raises questions about Treyarch's capacity, given their rumored involvement in the 2025 Call of Duty title. While the future pace of map releases remains uncertain, Treyarch assures fans of continued Zombies content. The Tomb's arrival on January 28th promises excitement for Zombies enthusiasts.
