Camping Guide for Atelier Yumia: Alchemist of Memories

Author : Ellie May 03,2025

Embarking on your journey through the Ligneus Region with Yumia and your companions, you'll soon discover the joy of setting up camp. This feature not only lets you bond with your friends but can be a bit tricky to figure out. Here’s your guide on how to camp in *Atelier Yumia*.

How to Craft a Camping Set in Atelier Yumia

Unlocking the ability to craft Camping Sets is a breeze once you've cleared the manabound Dux Lighthouse, your first such challenge in the game. After establishing a base on the newly revealed land, make your way back to the Ligneus Survey Base and have a chat with Erhard to unlock the camping feature.

Crafting a Camping Set involves gathering these materials:

  • 5% Energy
  • 3 Wood
  • 2 Water
  • 5 Fiber
  • 2 Charcoal

These resources are plentiful around the Ligneus Survey Base. You can fetch Water from wells scattered throughout the region, or by harvesting plants near river shores, which also yields fiber. As for Charcoal, you'll get it by striking ore.

Once you've collected everything, head to the Simple Synthesis menu. Ensure you have a 4×4 space available for crafting; otherwise, your Camping Set will be stashed back at the Atelier or one of your bases.

Where to Camp in Atelier Yumia

With your Camping Set ready, you're free to set up camp in any open space. Avoid narrow cliffs or dense forests; you'll need a bit of room. The Ligneus Region offers numerous spots like the River Campsite near the Ligneus Survey Base, perfect for setting up a temporary base.

To check if you can camp in a specific location, open your Exploration Bag and look at the radial menu. If the Camping option in the bottom right corner is highlighted, you're good to go. If it's greyed out, you'll need to find another spot.

What to Do While Camping in Atelier Yumia

Camping isn't just about resting; it's your chance to cook the delicious food you've gathered during your adventures. It's crucial to set up camp before tackling a boss or entering a manabound area, especially on higher difficulty levels.

Moreover, camping provides a unique opportunity to engage in conversations with your companions. While these dialogues won't affect the main storyline, they'll help you understand your friends better, adding depth to your journey.

And there you have it, everything you need to know about camping in *Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land*.

*Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land* is now available on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
