Developer Blast Zero and publisher Red Dunes Games are commemorating the 35th anniversary of the beloved 1990s anime Samurai Pizza Cats with a brand-new video game: Samurai Pizza Cats: Blast From the Past. This 2D action-RPG is currently in development for all major platforms.
The game boasts a reunion of original English voice actors, including Rick Jones (Cerviche), Sonja Ball (Polly Esther), Terrence Scammell (Guido Anchovy and Narrator), and Dean Hagopian (Seymour "The Big" Cheese). Gameplay, showcased in the announcement trailer, allows players to seamlessly switch between the Samurai Pizza Cats, leveraging each character's unique skills in combat and puzzle-solving throughout the vibrant setting of Little Tokyo.
