Classic Arcade Games Revitalized: Toaplan

Dive into classic shoot 'em ups with Amusement Arcade Toaplan, a new Android app from Tatsujin, a studio founded by Toaplan legend Masahiro Yuge. This mobile collection celebrates 40 years of Toaplan's arcade dominance, bringing 25 classic titles to your fingertips – the authentic arcade experiences, as intended.

Many gamers have likely encountered Toaplan's influence. This Japanese developer, established in 1979, reigned supreme in arcade shooters, releasing numerous scrolling shooters and other iconic games.

Amusement Arcade Toaplan offers a nostalgic trip down memory lane. The collection features the legendary Truxton (1988), available for free, along with demos of five other games: Tiger Heli, Wardner, Flying Shark, Snow Bros, and Teki-Paki. Full versions of these, and many more, can be purchased individually.

The extensive game library also includes: Truxton II, Snow Bros. 2, Guardian, Slap Fight/Alcon, Twin Cobra, Rally Bike, Hellfire, Twin Hawk, Demon's World, Zero Wing, Fire Shark, Out Zone, Vimana, Ghox, Fixeight, Dogyuun, Grind Stormer, Knuckle Bash, and Batsugun.

Enjoy customizable touchscreen controls, or connect a Bluetooth controller or arcade stick for an even more authentic experience. View the Amusement Arcade Toaplan trailer below:
