Even after defeat, he transforms, continuing his puppet attacks.
Candy Apple Cookie, wielding a colossal lollipop, crushes opponents, reducing their attack and defense. His shattering lollipop attack provides HP shields to allies and boosts their attack. The shards further amplify damage dealt to enemies, making him a valuable asset in battle.
The "Spire of Shadows" storyline introduces Confusion and Distortion mechanics (as seen in Stage 7-4). Confusion increases damage taken by the team, while benefiting Shadow Milk and Candy Apple Cookies. The Domain of Deceit effect, active on certain stages, reduces damage to these Cookies, adding strategic complexity.
Players will also accompany Pure Vanilla Cookie on his journey to the Spire of All Knowledge, uncovering memories and secrets crucial to the Cookie World's destiny. Completing this episode unlocks Bear Jelly Balloon expeditions, yielding Yeast Ore and boosting Rainbow Pearl acquisition in the Trade Harbor.
A new event, "Monster Menace," offers extra rewards like Soulstones and Beascuits for clearing stages. The "Monster Menace Marathon" provides additional rewards even after the event concludes for completing a specific number of stages.
