The Pokémon GO Fashion Week event is back, bringing returning costumed Pokémon and a new addition: costumed Minccino and Cinccino!
Costume Minccino Release Date:
Costume Minccino and Cinccino debuted during Fashion Week 2025, running from January 10th to 19th, 2025. These stylish Pokémon sport rhinestone glasses and adorable bows. Costume Minccino has a shiny variant, unlike Costume Cinccino. The event also features costumed Butterfree, Dragonite, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, Shinx, and various Furfrou forms in the wild and Raids.
How to Catch Costume Minccino:
Unfortunately, obtaining Costume Minccino isn't straightforward. It's available through two methods:
One-Star Raids:
Costume Minccino appears in One-Star Raids, easily soloable. However, One-Star Raids also feature Costume Shinx and Furfrou, requiring some searching to find a Minccino Raid.
Paid Timed Research:
A $5 USD (or equivalent) ticket grants access to a Timed Research event featuring XP, Stardust, a new avatar pose, and encounters with event Pokémon, including Costume Minccino. Completing the tasks guarantees at least one.
Field Research Tasks:
While Field Research Tasks offer encounters with event Pokémon, Niantic hasn't specified which ones. It's uncertain if Costume Minccino will be included, making the paid research the more reliable method.
Obtaining Costume Cinccino:
To obtain Costume Cinccino, evolve your Costume Minccino using 50 Candies and a Unova Stone.
