Valve's commitment to Deadlock continues, even without a rigid update schedule. The latest patch isn't a huge overhaul, but it's significantly more than a minor adjustment. A comprehensive list of changes is available on the official forums.

Four new heroes joined the fray on January 18th, followed swiftly by balance tweaks. Holliday's Crackshot ability now affects units, halving its cooldown in those instances. Calico's Ava ability gains the power to destroy objects during its activation.

Existing heroes also received attention: Kelvin's health is boosted from 600 to 650, while Vendicta's bullet speed is reduced (810 to 740) along with her movement speed (nine to eight). In total, eleven heroes, including the newcomers, were fine-tuned.

Deadlock remains in closed beta, maintaining a healthy online player base fluctuating between 7,000 and 20,000 players.
