Diablo 4 players have uncovered a game-breaking build capable of creating infinite damage, resulting in severe server lag. Discover how this overpowered combination works and why fans express concerns about the Berserk collaboration's pricing.

Server-Crashing Infinite Damage Build Discovered
Diablo 4's current season introduces new boss powers that, when optimized, can create an unstoppable damage loop capable of slowing game servers. Popular content creator Macrobioboi demonstrated this overpowered build on May 9, showcasing how it annihilates entire rooms of enemies using specific boss powers and a Legendary Aspect.
The build requires equipping the Vampiric Curse Legendary Aspect, which applies a permanent Vulnerable status to enemies until their death. This effect normally increases damage output, but interacts unexpectedly with other abilities.
The Flesh Reaper's Disruption boss power attempts to remove Vulnerable when stunning an enemy. However, Vampiric Curse's permanent effect causes continuous stun applications instead. Combined with Varshan's Life Steal power dealing massive damage on each boss power activation, these interactions create an infinite loop.
As shown in wudijo's gameplay footage, this combination fills the screen with countless ability effects while locking enemies in endless stun states. "The sheer number of calculations causes significant performance issues, making this an exceptionally laggy build," wudijo commented.
Blizzard has not yet addressed this resource-intensive build, allowing players to experiment with its massive damage potential at the cost of game stability.
Berserk Collaboration Raises Pricing Concerns
Diablo 4's current collaboration with legendary manga Berserk introduces premium cosmetic items, though their pricing structure has drawn player criticism. While some free rewards are available through gameplay, the most desirable items require substantial premium currency purchases.
Players can earn Behelit currencies to redeem these free Berserk-themed items:
- Hawk's Destiny Back Trophy
- Skull Knight's Heraldry Mount Armor
- Brand of Sacrifice Marking
- Foretold Eclipse Headstone
- Od of the Berserker Emblem
The premium cosmetic bundles feature iconic Berserk armor sets with substantial pricing:
- Berserker Armor (Barbarian) - 2,800 Platinum
- Hawk of Light (Rogue) - 2,800 Platinum
- The Struggler (Rogue) - 2,800 Platinum
- Skull Knight (Necromancer) - 2,800 Platinum
- The Schnoz Pet Bundle - 2,800 Platinum
- Warhorse of the Hawk Mount Set - 2,500 Platinum
Each premium set costs approximately $28 - nearly half the base game's price. Acquiring the complete collection requires purchasing the 15,000 Platinum bundle ($150), which includes a 3,500 Platinum bonus.
This pricing model matches Diablo 4's previous WoW crossover, suggesting similarly costly future collaborations. While the Berserk cosmetics showcase excellent quality, many players hesitate to spend at these price points.
