The Currency Exchange in Path of Exile 2 is a vital feature, allowing players to convert their lower-tier Currencies into higher-tier ones for trading with others or for use in crafting. However, understanding the current Currency Exchange rates can be challenging due to their constant fluctuations driven by in-game market dynamics. The only reliable way to stay updated on these rates is by checking them directly within the game.
How to Check Currency Exchange Rates in PoE 2
To access the Currency Exchange, speak to the gambling vendor in any Act once you've reached Cruel Difficulty. Within the Currency Exchange menu, you'll find two boxes designated for Currencies.
Start by clicking the left box and selecting the Currency you're interested in acquiring—or the one you wish to exchange your current Currencies for. For instance, if you want to know the current price of a Divine Orb, click the left item tab and choose Divine Orb from the list.
Next, click the right item tab to view a list of your available Currencies from your Inventory and Stashes. To continue with our example, if you're looking to see how many Exalted Orbs you need for a Divine Orb, select Exalted Orb from your available Currencies in your Stash.
The conversion ratio between your selected Currencies will be displayed between the item selection boxes. To acquire a Divine Orb using Exalted Orbs, you'll need to pay the number of Exalted Orbs shown on the right-hand side of the ratio.
This process works in reverse as well. If you possess a Divine Orb and want to convert it into Exalted Orbs, simply select Exalted Orb from the "Want" list and choose your Divine Orb from the "Have" list.
Keep in mind that the Currency Exchange rates are constantly updating, which means the conversion rates can change significantly from one hour to the next. It's a good practice to check back regularly during your gameplay to catch favorable rates for powerful Currency items.
If a particular Currency combination isn't available (like Divine Orb for Scrolls of Wisdom), no ratio will be shown, and the exchange will not be possible.
