Week 2 of The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event presents a puzzling challenge: studying a Historical Display. This guide clarifies the process and addresses common issues.
Locating a Museum:
The Week 2 quest requires interaction with a Historical Display, found within museums. Use your in-game map to locate buildings with a pillar icon. Municipal Muses (Willow Creek) and The Future's Past (Oasis Springs) are conveniently located near other event tasks.
Studying the Display:
Once inside a museum, locate a painting or sculpture (both qualify as Historical Displays). Click on the chosen item and select "View." Successful completion is confirmed by the appearance of the Emit icon.
Troubleshooting:
Many players report difficulties with the "View" option, potentially due to mods. If encountering this issue, temporarily disabling mods might resolve the problem. If the issue persists, try interacting with multiple displays in different museums.
