Those receiving confirmation emails will receive a follow-up email on February 11th, 2025, containing a unique code to download the Network Test client for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Clicking these invites redirects users to malicious sites, potentially compromising accounts and spreading the scam via mass messages to their friends. FromSoftware emphasizes that official registration and confirmations occurred only through their website and social media; any other links are suspect.
Following the confirmation email announcement, numerous listings on buy-and-sell sites appeared, offering "confirmed test codes" at exorbitant prices—$150-$200 or more, some even auctioned. Remember, these codes aren't available until February 11th.
