The highly anticipated expansion, Streaking Kittens, has arrived for Exploding Kittens 2. Marmalade Game Studio has released this expansion simultaneously for Android, iOS, and PC platforms. It introduces a host of new mechanics and several major new features are included in this release.
Streaking Kittens Adds a Wealth of New Content to Exploding Kittens 2
The expansion delivers new cards, new decks, and one of the community's most requested features: content sharing. Now, if you own the expansion but your friends do not, you can all play together seamlessly without requiring additional purchases from anyone.
Streaking Kittens introduces five powerful new cards to Exploding Kittens 2. The aptly named Streaking Kitten is on a mischievous stealing spree. This card allows you to safely hold an Exploding Kitten card without detonating, provided you have a Streaking Kitten in your hand. However, if an opponent steals your Streaking Kitten while you're still holding the bomb, you're out.
Next, the Swap Top and Bottom card does exactly what it says, swapping the positions of the top and bottom cards in the draw pile. The Mark card forces another player to reveal a chosen card and keep it visible to all.
Garbage Collection forces every player to discard one of their own cards back into the draw pile, which is then shuffled. Finally, the Catomic Bomb is particularly brutal, as it moves all Exploding Kitten cards directly to the top of the deck.
What Other New Features Are Included?
In addition to the new cards, the Streaking Kittens expansion brings three uniquely themed decks to Exploding Kittens 2. The Streaking Kittens deck encourages a new meta focused on theft and playful sabotage.
The Danger Mode deck is packed with an increased number of Exploding Kittens for a high-stakes experience. Lastly, the Attack of the Attacks deck continuously stacks attack cards, creating non-stop chaotic fun.
This update is free, and with the new content sharing feature, the game is more accessible than ever. Download Exploding Kittens 2 from the Google Play Store to try out the new decks today.
