Tin Man Games has recently enriched the Fighting Fantasy Classics collection with the addition of "Eye of the Dragon," now available across all major digital platforms including Android, iOS, and Steam for both PC and Mac. If you're a fan of nostalgic dungeon crawls, this game is a delightful throwback to the classics.
This Is Its Official Digital Debut!
For the first time since 2010, "Eye of the Dragon" is accessible digitally. Penned by Ian Livingstone, the co-creator of the Fighting Fantasy series, this title originally debuted in 2005 during the Wizard Books revival. Its origins trace back to a mini-adventure in "Dicing with Dragons." With this release, "Eye of the Dragon" proudly takes its place as the 19th entry in the Fighting Fantasy Classics library.
In "Eye of the Dragon," you're plunged into a thrilling adventure beneath Darkwood Forest, navigating a monster-filled maze in search of the legendary Golden Dragon, the most coveted treasure in Allansia. Your quest begins in a tavern in Fang, where a mysterious stranger presents you with a life-altering opportunity—albeit one that involves drinking a potentially lethal potion.
The dungeon is teeming with peril and riches, from deadly traps and magical artifacts to scattered jewels and numerous creatures eager to challenge you. Along the way, you'll encounter an imprisoned dwarf who might prove to be more than just a typical non-player character.
Eye of the Dragon in Fighting Fantasy Classics Isn’t Just a Static Copy of the Book
Tin Man Games has enhanced the digital version of "Eye of the Dragon" with numerous player-friendly features. You can adjust the difficulty to suit your skill level and opt for a Free Read mode if you prefer to explore without engaging in combat. An auto-mapping feature ensures you won't lose your way in the labyrinth, while unlimited bookmarks and an adventure sheet help manage your stats and inventory effortlessly.
"Eye of the Dragon" joins an impressive lineup in the Fighting Fantasy Classics series, including titles like "The Warlock of Firetop Mountain," "Deathtrap Dungeon," "Assassins of Allansia," "The Port of Peril," "Bloodbones," "Forest of Doom," "House of Hell," and "Trial of Champions." Tin Man Games is also working on more titles to expand this beloved collection further.
