Freedom Wars Remastered: Maximizing Combat Item Loadouts

Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse loadout customization. While weapons and Thrones are less frequently changed, Combat Items, being consumables with varied uses, require strategic management. This guide addresses both equipping and acquiring more Combat Items.

How to Equip More Combat Items

Initially, you're limited to one Combat Item. To increase this, you need Entitlements. In your cell, access the "Window On Liberty" and select "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the Equipment section, then to the right to find "One-Item Permit." Subsequent permits (up to four total) allow equipping more Combat Items.

These permits become available as you progress. By CODE level 3, you should be able to purchase all four. They unlock sequentially; you'll only see the next permit after acquiring the previous one. Equipping a Combat Item uses your entire stack, so equipping a Frag Grenade, for example, will utilize all currently held grenades at the operation's start.

Your Accessory slot can also hold one Combat Item, used at your discretion.

Where to Get More Combat Items

After completing the initial missions, access "The Warren" HUB area. There, you'll find "Zakka," a store on the upper level's right side. Besides weapons, Zakka offers "Buy Items," categorized into Munitions and Medical Supplies:

  • Munitions: Items directly inflicting damage.
  • Medical Supplies: Items for healing, ailment cures, or ammo replenishment.

Combat Items are individually priced; bulk purchases cost significant Entitlement Points. Donating excess resources might be necessary for large Medical Kit purchases. While Operations occasionally reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to the time investment and potential consumption exceeding rewards.
