Fuecoco's Fiery Community Day Debut
Fuecoco takes center stage on March 8th, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (local time). Expect increased Fuecoco spawns and boosted Shiny rates!
Evolving your Fuecoco to Skeledirge (via Crocalor) unlocks the powerful Charged Attack, Blast Burn, but only within one week of the event. Skeledirge can also learn Torch Song without time restrictions.
A Special Background Timed Research offers a Fuecoco encounter with a unique Seasonal Special Background and further boosts Shiny odds! Complete the tasks by March 15th, 2025, at 10:00 PM (local time).
For $2.00, access the exclusive Community Day Special Research. This includes Battle Passes, Rare Candies, three Fuecoco encounters (all with Seasonal Special Backgrounds), and gifting options for Great Friends and above.
March and Beyond: Community Day Dates Unveiled
Pokémon GO has announced Community Day dates extending through May:

- Saturday, May 24, 2025 (Community Day Classic)
Community Day Classic events revisit past favorites, like Ralts (previously featured in August 2019 and January 2025). The remaining dates feature yet-to-be-revealed Pokémon.
Beloved Buddies Event: Candela or Arlo?
The Beloved Buddies event, launched February 11th, 2025, includes Timed Research with branching paths featuring Candela (Team Valor) and Arlo (Team GO Rocket).
Initial tasks reward Ultra Balls, Remoraid, and Mantine encounters. Choose your path:
Candela Path: Rewards include Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.
Arlo Path: Rewards include Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, a Pocket Radar, and encounters with Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
