Today marks Genshin Impact's monumental annual update, introducing the highly anticipated region of Nod-Krai. This expansive new area becomes Teyvat's seventh playable nation, perfectly timed for the game's fifth anniversary celebration.
Version Luna I: A Dance of Snowy Tides and Hoarfrost Groves
Players who've completed Liyue's main storyline can immediately embark on Nod-Krai's fresh Archon Quest. The narrative explores rising conflicts within the region as Fatui Harbinger Marionette schemes to harness lunar energy.
Adventurers will ally with Lauma from the Frostmoon Scions and battle alongside Flins against the Wild Hunt forces. The journey reunites travelers with familiar faces in Nasha Town including Dori, Nefer, and Jahoda. Notably, Columbina reappears - once a Fatui Harbinger, now revered locally as the Moon Maiden.
Three new playable characters join the roster from Nod-Krai. Lauma, a 5-star Dendro Catalyst user, introduces the innovative Lunar-Bloom elemental reaction. Another 5-star recruit, Flins, wields an Electro-infused Polearm capable of Lunar-Charged attacks.
Aino rounds out the trio as a free 4-star Claymore character obtainable through Archon Quest progression. Version Luna I's first Event Wish phase showcases Lauma and Nahida reruns with a Sumeru-themed Chronicled Wish, while the second phase features Flins, Aino, and Yelan's return.
Fifth Anniversary Celebration Bonuses
Players can redeem a complimentary 5-star Standard Wish character plus sufficient ascension materials to reach level 60. Additional anniversary gifts include 1,600 Primogems, 10 Intertwined Fates, and two Nod-Krai-inspired gadgets.
