Rumors, even from industry insider Jeff Grubb, suggested classic God of War remasters were imminent. This fueled considerable fan excitement, prompting Santa Monica Studio's clarification:

"Pantheons collide! We’re thrilled to present a lineup of Greek and Norse characters for this panel celebrating the 20th anniversary of God of War where we’ll reflect on the past two decades of the series. Given the star-studded lineup and the anticipation surrounding this milestone, we want to make it clear that no announcements are planned for this event." Santa Monica Studio

The event, scheduled for March 22nd, will instead showcase new artwork featuring Kratos and Jörmungandr. Fans can also look forward to appearances by series actors, including Terrence Carson (Kratos) and Carole Ruggier (Athena).
