The upcoming Harry Potter HBO series has finalized casting for several pivotal roles including Draco Malfoy, Lucius Malfoy, and Molly Weasley.
Katherine Parkinson, renowned for her role in The IT Crowd, will bring Molly Weasley to life - the warm-hearted Weasley family matriarch previously portrayed by Julie Walters in the films.
Fresh talent Lox Pratt secures the coveted role of Draco Malfoy, Harry's silver-haired Slytherin nemesis. Meanwhile, Johnny Flynn of Lovesick fame takes on the role of Draco's cunning father, Lucius Malfoy.
The cast expands with new faces portraying Hogwarts students: Leo Earley as explosive-loving Seamus Finnigan, Alessia Leoni as charismatic Parvati Patil, and Sienna Moosah as Ron's eventual love interest Lavender Brown.
Earlier announcements revealed Bertie Carvel (The Crown) as Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge, with Bel Powley and Daniel Rigby cast as Harry's unpleasant relatives Petunia and Vernon Dursley.

With production imminent, most principal roles have been filled, including the central trio: Dominic McLaughlin as the Boy Who Lived, Arabella Stanton as book-smart Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as loyal Ron Weasley.
Casting began with John Lithgow's announcement as wise Headmaster Albus Dumbledore, followed by Janet McTeer as stern Professor McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as the complex Severus Snape, Nick Frost as gentle giant Hagrid, Luke Thallon as nervous Professor Quirrell, and Paul Whitehouse as caretaker Argus Filch.
