Hoshimi Miyabi helped Zenless Zone Zero set a new revenue record

HoYoverse's mobile hit, Zenless Zone Zero, continues its impressive market performance. The recent 1.4 update, "And the Starfall Came," propelled the game to a record-breaking $8.6 million in daily mobile player spending, surpassing even its launch day revenue in July 2024.

AppMagic data reveals Zenless Zone Zero's mobile revenue has already eclipsed $265 million. Update 1.4's success is attributed to the introduction of new characters like Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa, alongside enhanced game mechanics, new areas, and game modes, all driving increased player spending.

The free availability of Harumasa, coupled with a focused promotional banner for Hoshimi Miyabi, significantly contributed to these record-breaking numbers.

This update also demonstrated exceptional player engagement. Unlike typical post-update spending dips after a week, Zenless Zone Zero maintained over $1 million in daily revenue for more than 11 days, and held above $500,000 even two weeks later.

While a significant achievement, Zenless Zone Zero's revenue still lags behind HoYoverse's flagship titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail.
