When it comes to showcasing a new vehicle, car manufacturers have a variety of options at their disposal. From slick advertising campaigns to celebrity endorsements, the choices are plentiful. However, Hyundai has opted for a unique approach by teaming up once again with the popular mobile game, KartRider Rush+. This collaboration brings the exciting Insteroid concept car into the game as a new kart, designed by the Hyundai Motors Europe Design Center and inspired by the INSTER, an electric SUV from Hyundai.
The Insteroid isn't the only new addition to KartRider Rush+. Players can also get their hands on the new Glitched Hyundai Aura and an EV Charging Connector, both sporting the eye-catching GOGOGOrange color scheme. To celebrate this collaboration, an in-game event is running until April 28th. By using a Boost Shard at least once during the event, players enter a draw to win 30 Lucky Star Jewels. These jewels can then be exchanged for various items through the Starlight Treasure Hunt, adding an extra layer of excitement to the game.
It's worth noting that the Insteroid isn't just a virtual kart but also a real-world concept car. While it's not likely to hit production lines anytime soon, its inclusion in KartRider Rush+ serves as a powerful promotional tool for Hyundai. In comparison to other collaborations, like the Cybertruck in Fortnite, the Insteroid brings a more fashionable aesthetic to the game, in my opinion.
