After years of soaring through the skies without an upgrade, this legendary fire-breathing unit has now evolved. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Supercell joined forces with Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola.

It’s been nearly nine years since the Inferno Dragon first entered the Clash Royale arena. In the latest game trailer, Ismo Leikola steps into a humorous role as the Inferno Dragon’s self-appointed Hollywood talent agent.
That’s right—the dragon has grown tired of his full-time gig in Clash Royale and is now setting his sights on stardom in Tinseltown for better opportunities.

The Evolution of the Inferno Dragon Brings Powerful Gameplay Changes
This new Evolution form significantly enhances the Inferno Dragon’s battlefield performance. Unlike the original version—which reset its damage buildup when switching targets—the evolved form maintains continuous damage ramping, making it even more formidable in combat.
Inferno Dragon’s Rollout Kicks Off the New Season: “How to Evolve Your Dragon!”
Alongside the Inferno Dragon’s Evolution, Clash Royale introduces its latest season theme, packed with exciting content. Returning this season is the popular 2v2 League mode, allowing you to team up with a friend or random partner to climb the ranks.
Milestone Events will also be available starting from Arena 7, offering valuable rewards such as 3 Lumberjack Evolution Shards, an Epic Book of Cards, and exclusive cosmetics.
Crown Chase #1 features a Battle Banner complete with frame and decoration, plus an Epic Book of Cards. Crown Chase #2 continues the rewards with another Battle Banner and the coveted 3 Evolution Shards.
To help players experience the power of Evolution cards firsthand, the development team has scheduled a series of limited-time Game Modes and Challenges throughout June and into early July:
- Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft – June 2nd to 9th
- Inferno Dragon Challenge – June 6th to 9th (Rewards: Battle Banner & Emote)
- Evolution Mayhem – June 9th to 16th (Up to 4 Evolution Cards allowed)
- Magical Trio – June 16th to 23rd
- 4 Card Showdown – June 23rd to 30th
- Evolution Bonanza – June 30th to July 7th (Up to 8 Evolution Cards per deck)
