January 2025 Gacha Game Revenue Report: Genshin Impact Soars
The gacha game market continues to generate significant revenue, with January 2025 figures revealing some interesting trends. Genshin Impact, boosted by a major update featuring the Pyro Archon and the highly anticipated Mawuika banner, saw a remarkable surge in revenue, doubling its December 2024 earnings to a staggering $99.4 million.

Trailing behind Genshin Impact, Pokemon TCG secured second place with $64 million in revenue. Love and Deepspace, a popular "female gacha" title, claimed the third spot, generating $55.2 million.
Conversely, Honkai Star Rail experienced a decline in revenue, earning $50.8 million, while Zenless Zone Zero saw a significant drop, with its earnings halved to $26.3 million compared to December 2024's $57.9 million.
It's important to note that this ranking considers only mobile platform revenue. Furthermore, the data includes a clarification regarding revenue calculation in China, where Google Play is unavailable. Android revenue estimates for China are derived using a multiplier based on iOS revenue within the country.
