When King of Crabs burst onto the scene in 2019, it captured hearts with its quirky yet enchanting concept—a battle royale, but with crabs! Now, developer Robot Squid is diving back into the world of crustacean chaos with an even more ambitious project: King of Crabs – Invasion.
From Epic Crab Battle Royale to Epic Crab Warfare
In this new installment, Robot Squid has transformed the game's format significantly. Gone are the days of joining a frantic tidepool with 99 other players; King of Crabs – Invasion adopts a real-time strategy (RTS) approach, morphing the original frenzy into a more calculated mini RTS.
You still command your crabs into battle, just like before. However, instead of dashing around to grab weapons and devouring smaller creatures to grow, you now strategically deploy various units across a linear battlefield. Your arsenal includes standard crab soldiers, catapults, and formidable mace-wielding tanks with claws. The objective? Overwhelm your opponent before they can decimate your side of the board. Success hinges on the map and navigating any random obstacles that come your way.
