Applibot has launched Hello Kitty Merch Match, bringing Sanrio's extensive array of characters and their merchandise to mobile gaming. Developed and published in-house, the game allows players to discover and collect more than 1,000 authentic Hello Kitty and Friends items.
Collectibles span from nostalgic vintage designs to the latest releases!
Your goal is to explore a big pile of items and tap three identical pieces of merchandise to remove them. Yes, it follows the familiar match-3 formula. Every stage completed can earn you new merch to expand your personal digital trove.
To be honest, the gameplay is not the main draw—it's the merchandise that will pull you into Hello Kitty Merch Match. The character lineup is incredibly vast and diverse. You’ll encounter nearly every beloved figure from the Sanrio universe, including Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, Chococat, Pochacco, Kuromi, and My Melody.
Then you have Gudetama, Tuxedosam, U・SA・HA・NA, Kerokerokeroppi, Hangyodon, Little Twin Stars, Patty & Jimmy, Marroncream, Bad Badtz-Maru, and Minnanotābō. Don’t forget Dear Daniel, Wish Me Mell, My Sweet Piano, Ahirunopekkle, Cheery Chums, Goropikadon, and Noranekoland.
Also appearing are The Vaudeville Duo, Rururugakuen, Cogimyun, Corocorokuririn, Bonbonribbon, Kirimichan, Marumofubiyori, Strawberry King, Nya・Ni・Nyu・Nye・Nyon, and Osarunomonkichi. Each digital collectible represents a real-world Sanrio product digitized exclusively for the game.
Hello Kitty Merch Match includes special extras
All items you unlock are displayed in a 3D collection view. You can rotate them, zoom in for a closer look, and even link out to official websites to compare them with physical products.
Your home screen becomes more dynamic thanks to a marching feature: your collected merch parades across the display, and you can spotlight your favorites. Custom themes are also available, allowing you to decorate the interface with illustrations and designs inspired by your favorite Sanrio characters.
