Key developers from 4A Games have formed a new studio, Reburn, and revealed their first project: La Quimera. Staying true to their FPS roots, Reburn delivers a science fiction twist.
Set in a near-future, high-tech Latin America, La Quimera casts players as a Private Military Company soldier, equipped with an exoskeleton, battling a local organization. Expect dynamic combat across lush jungles and a vibrant metropolis.
The developers promise a gripping narrative and immersive gameplay, playable solo or cooperatively with up to three players. Adding to the intrigue, the script and setting are crafted by Nicolas Winding Refn (renowned for Drive and The Neon Demon) and E.J.A. Warren.
La Quimera will launch on PC via Steam, though a release date remains unannounced.
