LHEA and the Word Spirit is an upcoming puzzle adventure game for mobile and PC platforms, developed independently by Jo Drolet under Soul Fuel Games. This marks Drolet's debut major project as a solo developer.
After nearly three years in development, the game launches on September 22nd, blending casual roguelite mechanics with turn-based strategy. Alongside the release date announcement, the developer has unveiled some exciting gameplay previews.
Discover LHEA and the Word Spirit
The story begins in the "In-Between"—a surreal realm between life and death where protagonist Lhea awakens. Guided by an ancient Word Spirit, she must master an innovative battle system that manipulates timelines while helping lost souls find peace and restoring balance to fractured dimensions.
The combat system revolutionizes turn-based strategy by letting players control the actual flow of time. State of Mind and Harmony power-ups offer dynamic tactical advantages, while the mystical Fate Flute can equip nine enchanted rings across three presets, each unlocking powerful knowledge spells to enhance abilities.
