Building upon the success of the critically acclaimed Lies of P (IGN awarded it an 8/10), this action RPG prequel reimagines the Pinocchio tale within the familiar Bloodborne-esque gameplay style. Overture transports players to the city of Krat, on the precipice of the devastating Puppet Frenzy, offering a glimpse into the events preceding the main game's narrative. Lies of P: Overture serves as a dramatic prequel, immersing players in Krat's final days, a captivating blend of late 19th-century Belle Époque aesthetics and impending doom. As Geppetto's puppet, you'll follow a Legendary Stalker, a cryptic guide, unraveling untold stories and chilling secrets.

Round8 Studio's game director, Jiwon Choi, stated, "We knew the end of Lies of P was just the beginning. Overture allows us to fully explore the past and present of our universe."
Publisher Neowiz previously hinted at this first DLC and confirmed plans for a sequel. Lies of P achieved remarkable success, selling over one million copies within a month of its September 18, 2023 launch across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam), and Mac (Mac App Store).
