Kemco's new visual novel, Together We Live, offers a poignant post-apocalyptic narrative exploring themes of human sin and redemption. Exclusively available on Android (following its Steam release), the game plunges players into a compelling story.
A Journey of Atonement
The story follows Kyoya, who awakens in a dimly lit room in the year 4000, two millennia removed from his last memory. He finds himself in a desolate world, encountering a mysterious girl burdened by a heavy mission. This girl is trapped in a cycle of repeated death and rebirth, perpetually atoning for humanity's past transgressions. Her plight deeply affects Kyoya, inspiring him to introduce her to the concept of happiness.
The narrative begins with a slower pace, gradually building momentum. Initially insignificant details later become crucial plot points, creating engaging twists and turns.

A Thought-Provoking Experience
Unlike many visual novels, Together We Live eschews player choices, presenting a linear, interactive story. Its simple yet appealing art style complements the narrative's blend of beauty and sorrow. The fully voiced protagonist adds a haunting and effective dimension to the story. Currently available in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese, the game lacks controller support. It's priced at $9.99 on the Google Play Store, but free for Google Play Pass subscribers.
