Quick Links

Streamline your Path of Exile 2 looting experience with loot filters! These invaluable tools minimize on-screen clutter and highlight important items, especially beneficial in the later game. While using a controller or playing on console might seem to complicate things, loot filters are just as accessible on PlayStation and Xbox. This guide simplifies the process.

How to Link Path of Exile 2 and Console Accounts

To utilize loot filters on consoles, you must first link your console account to your Path of Exile account via the Path of Exile website. Here's how:

  1. Access the Path of Exile website and log in.
  2. Locate your account name (top-left).
  3. Select "Manage Account" (right-side, below your profile).
  4. Under "Secondary Login," click "Connect" for either PlayStation or Xbox.

You'll then be redirected to log in to your console account. Complete the connection process to link your accounts.

Finding and Using Loot Filters

With your accounts linked, return to your Path of Exile profile page.

  1. Click the "Item Filters" button (right-side).
  2. Select the "Item Filter Ladder" link. This opens a new tab with available filters.
  3. Choose "PoE 2" from the drop-down menu.
  4. Select your desired filter and click "Follow." For beginners, NeverSink's semi-strict or regular filters are recommended.

  1. In-game, navigate to the Options menu, then the Game tab.
  2. Select your chosen filter from the "Item Filter" drop-down menu (top of the Game tab).
  3. Click "Save."

Your loot filter is now active! Items will be visually distinguished (colors, labels) or even accompanied by sound effects, based on your filter's settings.
