As Pokémon GO approaches the epic finale of the Might and Mastery season, Community Day Classic is back, featuring the beloved powerhouse, Machop. On May 24th, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, the Superpower Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild, offering another opportunity to strengthen your Fighting-type lineup with a classic favorite.
Whether you're looking for a powerful Machamp or hoping to find a rare green Shiny, this event is your perfect chance. With increased Machop spawns, you might even encounter a Shiny version in Pokémon GO.
Evolve Machoke during the event or by May 31st at 10:00 PM local time to obtain a Machamp that knows Payback—a Dark-type Charged Attack with 110 power in Trainer Battles and 95 power in Gym and Raid battles.
For dedicated Trainers, a Special Research story will be available for $1.99, featuring a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, extra Machop encounters, and three Machop with a special Seasonal Background.
Additionally, Timed Research offers extra rewards for logging in. Complete tasks after the event to earn a Machop encounter with a Might and Mastery–themed Special Background and improved chances of finding a Shiny Machop. Remember, these tasks expire on May 31st.
