Today's reveal also highlights some unique features of the set, including the introduction of Summons. These are part of Magic's first-ever Saga creatures that players can summon for aid in battle, as exemplified by Summon: Shiva in the gallery. Additionally, the set brings back double-faced cards, a feature seen with Cecil's dual aspects: Dark Knight and Redeemed Paladin.
The Final Fantasy set will boast over 100 legendary creature cards, including 55 legendary borderless cards illustrated by fan-favorite artists from the Final Fantasy series. This set is designed to be fully draftable and Standard-legal, set to launch on June 13, accompanied by four preconstructed Commander decks. Each deck is themed around a different Final Fantasy game: 6, 7, 10, and 14. These decks will contain 100 cards, blending new Final Fantasy cards with existing cards featuring new Final Fantasy art, offering an immersive and thrilling experience for players.
