Marvel Contest of Champions: Dark Phoenix Saga, New Champions, and Eidols Arrive!
Get ready for massive updates to Marvel Contest of Champions! Kabam is launching the Dark Phoenix Saga, introducing new Champions, and debuting a revolutionary character type: Eidols. This month also spotlights the game's powerful female Champions, giving players a chance to influence a 2025 Champion rework.
Jean Grey and Bastion join The Contest, bringing their unique abilities and a thrilling new storyline. Jean Grey enters the fray on March 13th, followed by Bastion on the 27th. The Dark Phoenix Saga begins March 3rd, challenging Jean Grey and the X-Men against formidable variants in a brand-new quest.
Expanding the game's lore, more Eidols are being introduced to further the Founders' storyline. Following Isophyne (December 2024), three more Eidols will arrive in 2025, each with a unique acquisition method. Lumatrix, the next Eidol, debuts March 5th and will be available until June 4th.
Lumatrix, a master infiltrator created by The Founders, excels at espionage, sabotage, and assassination. Built from ISO-8 crystals, Lumatrix commands incredible light manipulation powers. While seemingly dazzling, this Eidol is a ruthless weapon designed for covert operations.

March also celebrates the powerful women of The Contest. Kabam has teamed up with seven female developers and content creators, each representing a different Champion. Players can vote on which Champion receives a 2025 rework by completing Solo Objectives and Realm Events.
