Marvel Rivals Reveals New Stats and Most Picked Heroes

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Unveiling the Most Popular and Winningest Heroes

NetEase has released comprehensive player statistics for Marvel Rivals, highlighting the most and least popular heroes during the game's initial month. The data reveals fascinating insights into player preferences and win rates, setting the stage for the upcoming Season 1.

Season 1 introduces the highly anticipated Fantastic Four, with Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman arriving at launch, followed by The Human Torch and The Thing later in the season. This influx of new characters promises to shake up the meta. But before the new season begins, NetEase shared a "Hero Hot List," detailing the top performers in Quickplay and Competitive modes.

Top Picks:

Jeff the Land Shark reigns supreme as the most frequently chosen hero in Quickplay across both PC and console platforms. In Competitive modes, Cloak & Dagger dominates on consoles, while Luna Snow takes the lead on PC.

Top Win Rates:

Despite Jeff's popularity, Mantis boasts the highest win rate overall, exceeding 50% in both Quickplay (56%) and Competitive (55%). Other high-performing heroes include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.

Underperformers:

Storm, a Duelist character, struggles with a remarkably low pick rate (1.66% in Quickplay and a mere 0.69% in Competitive), largely attributed to player feedback regarding her damage and gameplay. However, NetEase has announced significant buffs for Storm in Season 1, potentially altering her position considerably.

The release of these statistics provides a compelling snapshot of the current Marvel Rivals meta. With Season 1's launch on January 10th and the arrival of the Fantastic Four, coupled with balance changes like Storm's buffs, expect significant shifts in hero popularity and win rates in the coming weeks.
