How to Locate the Human Grenade in R.E.P.O.
Unlike many other items in R.E.P.O., the Human Grenade is tucked away in a special location you must work to reach: the Secret Shop. Fortunately, since you can access it between rounds, you don't have to fend off Clowns or other creatures to obtain this explosive.
To enter the Secret Shop, complete the first round and return to the Service Station. While gathering supplies, look for the ceiling tile opposite the Health Packs. This is your entry point, but reaching it in solo mode isn't as simple as climbing a shelf. After removing the tile, here are the items you can use to attempt access:

Some players have reported stacking objects in the Service Station as an alternative, but this method often creates more hassle than it’s worth. It’s generally better to wait until you can afford one of the tools mentioned above.
If you have friends to play with, accessing the Secret Shop becomes much easier. One player simply minimizes their size while another guides them in after positioning a cart or similar object for a boost.
Once inside the Secret Shop, you're ready to shop. The Human Grenade in R.E.P.O. has a starting price of $2,000. You'll also find the Duct Tape Grenade—a bundle of Human Grenades—available for purchase, so consider adding it to your inventory as well.

How to Use the Human Grenade in R.E.P.O.
The Human Grenade is one of several throwable items in R.E.P.O. It has an effective range of about 10 meters, which is shorter than the Stun Grenade and Shock Grenade. However, a key difference from standard grenades is that the Human Grenade can harm both monsters and players. Be sure to clear the area after throwing one.
While the Human Grenade might seem like an upgrade, its advantages are limited. The Duct Tape Grenade, also found in the Secret Shop, is often the more compelling option due to its greater destructive power. Keep this in mind when stocking up, as you’ll need potent gear to stand against the game's relentless monsters.
