Assassin's Creed Mirage offers a revamped progression system. While skill unlocks are primarily tied to Knowledge Ranks (explained below), traditional XP-based progression remains. Earning XP unlocks higher-tier weapons, armor, and gear, and boosts Naoe and Yasuke's base stats.
Reaching Level 35 allows exploration of all Japanese provinces. However, the XP grind extends far beyond this. While initially believed to cap at 40, players can reach Level 60. Further increases are likely with the Claws of Awaji expansion.
