Minecraft Dragon Ball Z Fighting Game DLC Out Now
1v1, 5v5, and Co-Op Modes
Minecraft has just shadow-dropped a new Dragon Ball Z (DBZ) fighting game DLC featuring 1v1, 5v5, and co-op gameplay modes. According to the announcement on Minecraft’s official website dated November 4, this content pack is now live across PC, consoles, and mobile platforms for 1,510 Minecoins or roughly $8.99.The collaboration was first hinted at during Minecraft Live 2025 in late September, when developer Mojang teased that the DBZ DLC was "coming soon" without providing a specific launch date. Alongside this announcement, they offered a complimentary Super Saiyan hairstyle, redeemable only until November 4.
This expansion introduces 11 fully playable characters, each boasting unique movesets and special attacks. The roster features Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Frieza, Trunks, Krillin, Android 18, Cell, Android 17, and Majin Buu.
Players can unlock all fighters by defeating them in tournaments set across iconic DBZ locations like Planet Namek and the Cell Games Arena. Beyond these arenas, users can explore the Hyperbolic Time Chamber or visit Bulma at the Capsule Corporation.
Official screenshots highlight encounters with Great Ape Vegeta, Shenron, and the quest to collect all seven Dragon Balls. The game description invites players to: "Join Goku, Vegeta, and all their friends and foes in a hard-hitting adventure that will test your mettle, allow you to strike down villains, and see if you can go over mine-thousand."
17 Skins and Free Scouter
The Dragon Ball Z experience extends beyond the DLC, allowing players to showcase their Saiyan pride in custom Minecraft worlds. The pack includes 17 skins featuring all 11 fighters, Bulma, and other notable characters.
Additionally, users can claim a free Scouter Character Creator item until December 4, 2025, at 10 AM PT. After this deadline passes, the cosmetic will become available for purchase in the Minecraft marketplace.
