MiSide: A Complete Guide to the Glitching Carrots Puzzle

MiSide is brimming with hidden secrets and collectibles, including charming Mita costumes and character backstories. One such hidden gem is the optional Glitching Carrots puzzle, easily missed on a first playthrough. This guide provides a complete solution, ensuring you snag every carrot.

Locating the Glitching Carrots

The Glitching Carrots puzzle appears in MiSide's "Reading Books, Destroying Glitches" chapter, beginning with Player One's arrival at Mila's game world. After the initial dialogue, you'll navigate rooms to resolve glitches represented by floating black holes.

During this process, a peculiar carrot will appear. Upon approach, it vanishes and reappears elsewhere, increasing in size with each teleport. The puzzle requires locating all its spawn points. Completing this unlocks the Carrot achievement.

Seven Glitching Carrot Locations

Here's a detailed list of each carrot's location:

Glitching Carrot Location
Carrot #1 Kitchen counter, inside the fruit bowl.
Carrot #2 Mila's bedroom, near the potted plant by the bathroom door.
Carrot #3 Living room, on the table next to the front door (in a vase).
Carrot #4 Bathroom, on the top shelf of the closet (after solving the second glitch). A Player Cartridge is also here.
Carrot #5 Living room, on the armchair near the bedroom door.
Carrot #6 Kitchen, on the kitchen table.
Carrot #7 Mila's bedroom, on her bed.

Achievement Unlocking

Collecting all seven carrots automatically unlocks the achievement. Ideally, collect them all before solving the final glitch. However, if missed, you can replay the chapter after completing the main story.
