Unlocking Mounts in Rune Slayer: A Comprehensive Guide

Rune Slayer delivers a captivating MMORPG experience within Roblox, boasting quests, crafting, dungeons, and even fishing. However, no true MMORPG is complete without mounts, and Rune Slayer provides just that. While obtaining a mount isn't overly complex, the game lacks explicit instructions. This guide clarifies the process.

Pre-Mount Requirements:

Before embarking on your mount-acquiring journey, ensure you meet these prerequisites:

• Reach Level 20: This shouldn't take more than a few hours of dedicated questing, job completion, and mob elimination. Playing with friends can significantly expedite this process.
• Tame a Pet: A quest will guide you through pet taming. The basic steps are:
  • Locate a tamable animal (deer, wolf, spider, etc.).
  • Attack it once.
  • Present the animal with its preferred food (apples for deer, raw deer meat for wolves).
  • A heart will appear above the animal's head. A fully grown heart signifies successful taming; a blackened heart indicates failure. Try again with a different animal if necessary.

Initiating the Mount Quest:

Upon reaching level 20, seek out Jimmy the Stable Master in Wayshire. He'll provide a delivery quest to the Ashenshire Stable Master. Accept "Jimmy's Delivery" and follow the path north from Wayshire, traversing Greatwood Forest. Stay on course; straying can lead to encounters with challenging mobs. Continue north until you reach Ashenshire, identifiable by its unique treetop houses.

Locate the rope leading upward and climb. The first NPC you encounter will be Madonna the Stable Master. Interact with her, selecting "I have a package for you." Return to Wayshire via the same route.

Upon your return, speak with Jimmy; he'll reward you with a saddle. The saddle won't appear in your inventory to prevent accidental loss or sale.

Mounting Your Pet:

Summon your pet (using the "T" key), approach it, and select the "Mount" option (usually "E"). Enjoy your high-speed travel across Rune Slayer! This method works with all mountable pets.
